ANDROCLES AND THE LION
By Aurand Harris
Saturday, July 24 at 1pm / Sunday, July 25 at 4pm

Set in Renaissance Italy, this Commedia dell’arte version of Aesop’s fable is a joy to watch for any age. Using authentic staging and stock Commedia characters, Androcles skyrockets with “slapstick” humor and shines with the warmth of friendship. As one of the most popular children’s plays ever written, Androcles delivers a wholesome package filled with laughter and loyalty the entire family can enjoy!

Rain Location: Nazareth College Arts Center Main Lobby

ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY
Book and Lyrics by Judith Viorst
Music by Shelly Markham
Saturday, August 14 at 1pm / Sunday, August 15 at 4pm

Alexander is having a bad day. Gum in his hair, lima beans for supper, cavities and kissing on TV! It’s enough to make anyone want to move to Australia! In this musical version of Judith Viorst's tale of childhood struggles, Alexander's daily dramas will not only entertain the whole family, but share identifiable obstacles with young audiences to encourage them to share their feelings and realize that bad days happen to everyone - even in Australia!
